Tomahawk School

Telling Great Stories

MARCH 7-11 | TOMAHAWK

Tomahawk School is joining with Trickster Theatre to host a week-long residency to create a dramatic production on the theme of TELLING GREAT STORIES. This theme is in direct support of our school goal to improve literacy for all of our students. Research is clear that the ability to effectively use all aspects of language is directly tied to positive student achievement. This theme will focus on a number of literary genres to show the diversity of literature and create a direct connection for our students in promoting the important benefits of all aspects of language: reading, writing, speaking, listening, viewing and representing. Genres could be sci-fi, historical fiction, reference texts, cartoons, poetry, fairytales or any of the many other possible options.
