Within our Trickster Residency, our students will explore big concepts in the Alberta science curriculum. Prior to the residency starting, our teachers would choose a big concept from their grade’s curriculum for the students to explore during the residency. Upon culmination, each class will present their “Big Science Idea” in the form of a different literary genre (poetry, legend, fable etc.). A residency program with Trickster Theatre would culminate in an original theatrical performance created and performed by ALL of our students. Science concepts and literacy genres will be combined to create our residency theme “Science Wisdom; the Untold Story”.
