Book Residencies Now For 2021-22

                                          Book now!

Apply now for 50-75% subsidy to do a Trickster Residency next school year. Up to $15,000 per school is available.

Trickster theatre is supporting schools in applying to the Alberta Foundation for Arts (AFA) by the April 1 deadline. The application can be for a traditional in-school theatre-based Trickster residency with shows;  an in-person green screen video-based Trickster residency; or a virtual green screen video Trickster residency, or a virtual theatre-based Trickster residency (in the application we can specify one or more alternate formats in case Covid is still around).

Trickster Theatre has done more than 1000 residencies over 30 years – and each one was customized to the school that hosted it. You can choose your own theme, involve up to 600 students grades from K-12, have public shows or share the Trickster residency through video.

The best way to find out more is to book a meeting to go over what it could look like at your school and how it could be adapted to your theme and goals. Trickster will look at all the options,  as well as the funding application process.

Or, you could sign up for one of our Friday 1pm group webinars and learn more about our residency program that way.  We’ll answer any questions you have.

Once you decide to book, we’ll help you with the AFA application. If you apply to the AFA and do not get funded, there is no obligation to do the Trickster residency.

We look forward to creating a great custom Trickster residency experience for your school.

For more residency info see our website or call us at 403-288-9393.
