Science Alive and Kicking

MARCH 14-18 | EDMONTON

Our residency with Trickster Theatre would involve all of our students creating and performing an original, 90-minute theatre production around our chosen theme of Science: Alive and Kicking. The show will be performed in a mix of English and French.

Prior to the residency, the teachers would work with the Trickster office to develop sub-themes for their individual class based off of the aspects of the curriculum that the students are currently learning and are excited about. The students will then work with the teachers to develop more specific ideas within their sub themes such as settings, characters and story ideas. Some of these sub-themes could be: “ Air Molecule Boot Camp” , “Magnetism – from Electrons to Power Generation”, “The Lifecycle of Bees” or “ Echolocation – it Works for Bats!”
