Experience the Trickster science process!

Welcome to a totally new way to bring theatre into your classroom

Trickster Theatre is now offering two day workshops in both Science and Storytelling.

We bring a professional Trickster artist to your classroom, and they work with your students, using physical theatre, to bring the curriculum to life. Each unit of Science or Storytelling allows us to work with 4 classes and each class will see the artist twice over the two day workshop.

For Science, we have programs for Grades 1-6 supporting the new Alberta Science Curriculum. We can facilitate workshops on Space, Living Systems, Earth Systems, Matter and Energy. We get the children up and on their feet, acting out the curriculum.

For Storytelling, we have programs for Kindergarten-Grade 9. We also recently taught this material to adults at a recent Alberta Teachers Convention, and it was a hit! The teacher will choose an image or story prompt, and the artist will help the class to storyboard the content, imagine different scenarios inspired by the picture, then act it out!

Our Science and Storytelling workshops are excellent options for remaining field trip budgets, as you don’t have to pay for a bus!
