Trickster Theatre will spend a week at our school on “Seasons of the Land: Exploring Solstices, Equinoxes, and Seasons through Storytelling,” involving all students in prop-making and collaborating with professional artists on the narrative. Prior workshops led by an Indigenous liaison will deepen students’ cultural understanding through traditional stories and ceremonies related to the land. Through scriptwriting and performance, students will explore seasonal themes from diverse perspectives, fostering empathy and respect for indigenous knowledge and environmental stewardship.
