What We Learn from the land: Setting your intentions for land acknowledgement

March 3-7 | Calgary

Grades K-4

Prior to our Trickster residency, students worked with Indigenous artist Clarence Wolfleg to revise their Land Acknowledgement and created artwork reflecting its significance. Now, this week, student will collaborate with Trickster artists to develop a performance titled “What We Learn from the Land: Setting Our Intentions for Land Acknowledgement,” integrating their artwork into the sets and projections. This initiative aims to deepen students’ respect and appreciation for the land while honoring Indigenous principles and practices throughout the storytelling process.
