Teaching Kids That Not All Disabilities Are Visible

“Abled does not mean enabled. Disabled does not mean less abled.” ― Khang Kijarro Nguyen

Trickster Theatre is happy to offer lesson plans and activities – that use the unique Trickster style – to celebrate the Day for People With Disabilities through awareness, understanding and empathy.

The Day for the People with Disabilities is December 3rd. This year, 2020, the theme is “not all disabilities are visible” with a focus on disabilities that are not immediately apparent, such as chronic pain or fatigue, diabetes, neurological disorders, learning differences, among others.

Everyone can participate, the more understanding the better we can be to create a school/community/world that is accessible for everyone! For activities, lesson plans, or to subscribe to our newsletter click here.
