LILIAN SCHICK

The Kindness Chronicles : A Pathway to a Better World

Nov 14-18 | Bon Accord

Grades 5-9 | 240 Students

During Covid-19 the drama program at Lilian Schick suffered, their 2020 full scale production had to be amended to a video readers theatre presentation. With staffing changes there are no longer teachers available to teach a drama production class. So the staff offered an introduction to drama class to be able to allow students to collaborate, interact, practice improvisation skillsm and work on monologues. While the program was a success many students expressed their disappointment and loss from not having the regular full scale performance drama offered previously. Lilian Schick and Trickster Theatre’s residency will bring back the opportunity for students to get together and once again practice and build on their performance skills , and bring back a sense of community in a time of trying to return back to order.
