GIFT LAKE

Put Down Your Device

Sept 26-29 | Gift Lake Métis Settlement

Grades K-9 | 115 Students

Gift lake is approximately 4.5 hours northwest of Edmonton. Being so far from an urban setting, it is difficult to expose students to the arts. Being able to provide these types of opportunities for students encourages better attendance and engages them in ways regular classroom instruction might not. Gift Lake School and Trickster theatre will encourage students to spend more time setting devices aside and getting outside to reconnect with their histories and community.
