For our upcoming residency we chose a theme that aims to teach students about acceptance and belonging through animal perspectives, fostering empathy and a sense of community. By exploring how animals interact and adapt, students learn valuable lessons about inclusivity and their place in the world. This approach encourages students to appreciate diverse viewpoints and understand their role within their school and community.

Trickster Theatre acknowledges that our art is created on the traditional territories of the Indigenous peoples of Treaty 7 and Treaty 6. This includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai Nations), the Tsuut’ina Nation, the Stoney Nakoda (Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney Nations), the Cree, Saulteaux, and Nakota Sioux. We also acknowledge that these lands are the home and gathering places of the Métis Nation within Alberta.
