KATERI

Creating Pathways

Oct 31-Nov 4 | Trout Lake

Grades K-12 | 120 Students

Without a drama or music teacher, offering fine arts opportunities to students is a challenge. The district is committed to finding creative ways of intergrating fine arts into the curriculum and programming. Together Kateri School and Trickster Theatre will use their residency to build upon students self-esteem, self-confidence, provide them with values, appreciation of the Cree worldview, and possibly create an interest in theatre as a career option. We are excited to provide students the oppurtunity to experience something different and rewarding. We will create pathways that will build on community involvement.
